Stack Heavy is a free tools site. We don't require accounts, we don't collect personal information to use the tools, and we don't run ads. This privacy policy explains what limited data may be collected when you use this site.
We do not collect personal information through the use of our calculators or premium tracker. All calculations happen in your browser. Nothing you enter into any calculator on this site is sent to our servers.
If you use the contact form, your name, email address, subject, and message are transmitted to us via email. This information is used only to respond to your inquiry. We do not store it in any database, share it with third parties, or use it for marketing. The contact form asks only for the information necessary to respond to your message. Any additional personal information you choose to include is provided entirely at your own discretion and risk. We are not responsible for any personal information you voluntarily include beyond what the form requires, and we cannot be held liable for its inclusion, loss, or misuse in any form. By submitting the contact form you acknowledge that any information provided beyond the required fields is shared voluntarily and at your sole risk.
If you subscribe to the Stack Heavy mailing list, your email address is collected and stored by Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.). Subscribers may receive emails related to Stack Heavy including new tools and site updates, as well as occasional communications from Silver Seeker including YouTube videos, live streams, auctions, online store updates, and merch. We do not sell, rent, or share subscriber data with any third party. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email. Mailchimp's privacy policy applies to the storage and processing of your email address and can be found at mailchimp.com.
Stack Heavy links to external sites including shop.coolstax.com (The Vault), merch.coolstax.com, and the Silver Seeker YouTube channel. These sites are operated independently and have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any external website. Visiting those sites is governed by their respective policies, not this one.
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically collect standard server log data when you visit the site. This may include your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. This data is used for basic server administration and security purposes only.
Stack Heavy does not currently use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies. We may add analytics tools such as Google Analytics in the future to better understand site usage and improve the tools. If and when that happens, this policy will be updated to reflect it. The site may use a small number of functional cookies for basic site operation.

The contact form uses hCaptcha to prevent spam. hCaptcha's privacy policy applies when you interact with the captcha widget.
Stack Heavy is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
